Improvement of Eucalyptus urophylla wood permeability via urea treatment

چکیده

To increase the loading amount of modifier in wood, a simple and universal approach was developed to improve its permeability. The generated pores wood can be backfilled with modifiers, thereby improving function wood. This study aimed permeability Eucalyptus urophylla using urea solution. treated under different conditions, including concentration, treatment duration, temperature, before after measured water absorption as an indicator. temperature solution concentration had considerable effects on capacity eucalyptus 5% for 12 h, normal pressure, resulted optimal effect; reached 40%, which 78.9% higher than that untreated eucalyptus.
